It's a great book that has many short and inspiring stories from people from a variety of sources. It is well written. The stories are short but inspiring. Excellent value for the processor done and thumbs up!
If you're looking for something that'll get you off your butt and conquer the day, this is it. I am using it to power my 100 day self improvement challenge and it certainly has helped me kick the day's butt!
Every once in a while you come across a story that strikes a chord in your heart. But in this collection of stories about perseverance you will find example after example of the kinds of options that are available to each of us whenever adversity strikes. My suggestion? Kick off your shoes, sit down and immerse yourself in the pages of this collection. You will come out on the other end feeling as though you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Excellent small book. There are many smart people in the world who fail because they do not persevere. This small, easily readable book provides quick glimpses of people from all walks of life who persevered and thus won. Reading this book one learns that Walt Disney was TURNED DOWN FOR A LOAN 302 times before receiving financing with which to build his theme park Disney World. Talk about perseverance! How must Walt have felt after rejection #292? How in the world could he have known that he would finally be approved for a loan after 20 more times? He couldn't have known. He persevered and this is what this little book will highlight for you. Others who similarly persevered.

Michal Stawicki does a good job of packing each story into a tight read for the reader to work through quickly. The stories are encouraging, inspirational, and most of all, each carrries a powerful message we are put on this earth for a reason and, no matter what it may be, we can do the things that we love with passion...and if we persevere, we could leave a legacy behind. The stories are fun to read and we can even pick up on the strategies used by the success stories and apply them to our own lives.

Some of the well-known stories in this exalting kindlebook; Walt Disney, J.K. Rowling, Emily Blunt, Alan Rickman. There is also a happy outcome story in this kindlebook of a woman named Inas Khammi who immigrated from Iraq to San Diego, California. Her family was part of a religious minority group (listed as Chaldean Catholic) that was listed to have been heavily persecuted before fleeing for the U.S. She was given 345 dollars for her first eight months in the U.S. but she was determined to be more self-reliant. Eventually, a caseworker helped her with getting connected to another counselor who helped her with starting a childcare business. Eventually, she succeeded in making $6,000 a month. There was also a motivational example of the writer in the kindlebook who had to persist rejection from multiple places for nearly 10 years before their work was accepted for publication. This inspired me to make sure to create and finish a story as a writer that I would be willing to submit for at least 9-10 years or longer if necessary.
